There’s lot to like about this hotel. the location is perfect. Easy to walk into the center of Cali, San Antonio or Granada, it’s perfectly placed in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of these. The place has the feel of an interesting sprawling colonial house, and the pool area is cute and comfortable to spend time in. The place is well-staffed, the breakfast is swift and of good quality, and my room was comfortable. The walls are thick and I was able to sleep well. The shower is hot, and though the room lacked air-conditioning the fan was sufficient for temperature for me. There was a water cooler placed near reception and jugs and glasses to fill up.

I was very comfortable and happy @ the Hotel Stein-Colonial. The staff were wonderful, nice small poo and garden area. The hotel is old but very charming, and location for me was good. Easy taxi service to and from the hotel, the staff were very good at arranging laundry, ordering of taxis' and very kind and attentive. A good hotel to sit and chill at, and nice guests staying there to meet and chat to.

Staff was amazing . Food was delicious. The location is in a safe area . They do have 24 hour security .pool is small & the fitness area not so much . Tread mill did not work . The bike did work . It use to be a home for children like 65 years ago , so no room for a big fitness area . Not a gym at all if you’re a gym rat. I wanted the Columbia feel & it was just that .

Felt welcome and kindly treated all the time, the staff is so nice! Its location is perfect, near all main attractions and many restaurants within walking distance. Stein’s restaurant offers various breakfast options, a fixed and cheap lunch menu but also a la carte with fair prices and good quality. Will be back without any doubt!

Safe area and walking distance to the nicest sights in Cali. Great location. Hiked the Tres Cruces trail as the trailhead was very close to the hotel.
